Samsung has quietly launched its latest mid-range smartphone — Samsung Galaxy Jump 4 — in South Korea. This fourth-generation Jump series device comes with an impressive set of features for its price point, including the Exynos 1380 processor, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and an extended software support promise lasting until 2031, making it one of the longest-supported Android smartphones in its segment.
The Galaxy Jump 4 is essentially a rebranded version of the Galaxy M14 5G or Galaxy A15 5G in other markets but comes with enhancements exclusive to the Korean market. It features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and vibrant colors — ideal for media consumption and gaming.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 chipset, which is built on a 5nm process and paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. The processor ensures efficient multitasking and supports 5G connectivity for faster data speeds.
In the camera department, the Galaxy Jump 4 offers a 50MP main rear camera with OIS, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a macro shooter. On the front, it houses a 13MP selfie camera embedded in a teardrop notch.
One of the biggest highlights is Samsung’s commitment to software longevity. The Galaxy Jump 4 will receive four years of Android OS updates and five years of security patches, ensuring support up to the year 2031. This is a significant step in enhancing the lifespan and user trust in mid-range Android smartphones.
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, promising all-day performance on a single charge. It runs on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 out of the box.
The Galaxy Jump 4 is currently available for purchase in South Korea via LG U+ network and is expected to be priced competitively. While there is no official word yet on its global release, the phone’s solid hardware and software support strategy may make it a compelling choice if it expands to other regions.
